My cheif ally in all things is my mother, Elizabeth Hardwick. I also ally myselves with Mistress Fitton and Mistress Walsingham both as a matronly mentor to the young maids and to watch their escapades.

I have no enemies. I am a close friend to all.

Why are you on Progress?
|
|
Per my mothers request, I have joined her upon Her Majesties progress. I am very excited to escape the humdrum tedium of my humble mannor.

Why are you at Court?
|
|
I am not at court. I am, predominantly, at my home at Holme Pierrepont, Nottinghamshire.

Did you know I was the Countess of Shrewsbury's eldest? Oh yes -- she's the wealthiest woman in England and I am in her favor... yes, yes, I know I'm just a knights wife... did I mention my mother?
